It Started with an idea
And a Need for a Gown
Summer of 2023, while planning my wedding, my mom and I embarked on a quest to find the perfect dress for her to wear on my special day. She insisted on trying on the clothes in person, not wanting to risk such an important purchase online. However, we quickly discovered how challenging it was to find a physical store that offered elegant evening wear. This experience highlighted a gap in the market: online shopping, though convenient, doesn’t always suit every purchase. After the wedding, my husband and I traveled from Montreal to Istanbul to introduce him to my family and our vibrant city. As we strolled through Istanbul, I was captivated by the abundance of evening wear boutiques and the accessibility of couture gowns. This inspired me to bring European-designed, made-in-Europe gowns to Canada, combining the best of both worlds.

A Loft Space
Once the idea took root, I couldn't let it go. I began searching for the perfect space to bring this vision to life. I found a loft that had the potential to become a beautiful boutique but required significant transformation. With the support of friends and family, countless hours spent in furniture stores, and numerous international phone calls, we turned this empty loft into an inviting and elegant boutique. Every detail, from the chic decor to the comfortable fitting rooms, was thoughtfully planned to create a welcoming atmosphere. We wanted a space where women could enjoy a personalized shopping experience, reminiscent of the exclusive boutiques we saw in Istanbul.

With the boutique ready, the final step was to curate our collection. I traveled back to Europe to select the gowns, leveraging my family’s connections in the fashion industry. Through established relationships with renowned designers and wholesalers in Istanbul and Italy, we were able to curate a stunning collection. After countless hours of merchandising, we proudly brought over 30+ wedding gown styles and over 80 evening wear styles to our boutique.
